The Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI) released a satellite image of Dokdo island taken by KOMPSAT-2 on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
KOMPSAT-2 is an earth observation satellite flying in a low earth orbit with an orbit altitude of 685km.
