미국 국가 우주개발 조직
미국의 우주개발·활용을 추진하는 주요정부기관으로서는 항공우주국(NASA), 내무성(DoI), 운
수성(DoT), 상무성(DoC), 국방성(DoD)이 있음. NASA는 지구과학, 우주과학, 우주탐사 및 우
주시스템, DoI는 자원관리, DoT는 항행체계, DoC는 기상 관측 예보, DoD는 안보 관련 우주
활동을 수행하고 있음.
