Cube Satellites Launch Services

(Bidding No. KARI-14-47)

Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), a Korean government-funded institution, solicits 
qualified   Bidders   who   can   provide   the   Launch   Services   and   associated   services   including 
necessary material and equipment for the Cube Satellites (CubeSats).
 
The   following   is   an   outline   of   the   RFP  requirements,   so   potential   Bidders   are   requested   to 
carefully   review   the   RFP   document   and   to   submit   their   Proposals   in   accordance   with   the 
guidelines and requirements as contained in the RFP.

1.Main Scope

- To provide KARI with the launch service and any other necessary items and services for 

the purpose of launching the CubeSats into the target orbit.

2. Contract Period

- EDC ~ June 30, 2016

3.Qualification of Bidders

-  Bidder shall be manufacturer of launch vehicle or provider of launch service who has power 

of attorney established be the manufacturer and notarized be public certificate.

-  Bidder shall launch the CubeSats which includes United States components obeying U.S. 

government export license policy.

4. Bid Closing Date
   - June 10, 2014, 15:00 Korean Local Time

5. Allocated Budget
   - USD 1,100,000.00

6. Bid Bond
   - The total amount of the bid bond shall be at least five (5) percent of the total bid value.

7. Distribution of RFP Documents

8. Registration of Intent

-  Bidders shall inform KARI of their intent as a letter within 3 weeks after giving public 

notice of a bid. After receiving it, KARI will send the draft of T&C to Bidders.

9. Submittal of Proposal

- Proposal shall be submitted to the address stated below in a manner as specified in the RFP
