Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Hydro-
static Pad Bearings for Vertical Vibration Test System.
The following is an outline of the RFP requirements, so potential Bidders are requested to carefully review the
RFP Documents and to submit their Proposals in accordance with the guidelines and requirements as contained
in the RFP. The successful Bidder shall supply Hydro-static Pad Bearings for Vertical Vibration Test System.
1. Main Scope

Item : Hydro-static Pad Bearings for Vertical Vibration Test System

Contract period : 25 weeks from the Effective Date of Contract

Method of Contract : Two envelopes
2. Qualification of Bidders
-
The participants shall supply information about themselves according to the form in Part V of RFP.

The participants shall also have experience of manufacturing the hydro-static bearing for the large
electrodynamic shaker system. (Excitation Force >200kN). (Critical)

The supplier should submit the business showings of the manufacturing and installation of the
hydro-static bearing for multiple vertical vibration shakers. (Critical)
3. Distribution of RFP(Request For Proposal) Documents

Available at KARI’s homepage(http://ebid.kari.re.kr/) from September XX, 2012
4. Registration of Bid and Submittal of Proposal
-
Submission of Proposal and Bid Bond is considered to be registered of Bid.

The proposal shall be hand-carried or by post to KARI personnel or his designee indicated in RFP.

Bid currency is USD and the proposal shall be made in English or Korean.
5. Bid Closing Date and Time
-
September 18, 2012 14:00 Korean Local Time.
6. Bid Bond
-
The total amount of the bid bond shall be at least five (5) percent of total bid value.
7. Evaluation of Proposal
